McAfee is probably the worst of the lot. Norton AntiVirus is a system resource hog. My personal pick? TREND MICRO PC CILLIN! Of all the antivirus software I've used over the years, PC Cillin is the best.

it might not be a case of "the more the merrier"... 
anyway...using antivirus software is not a pre-empt method as new viruses gets created very fast and ur system might be one of the 1st few to be infected....ie...virus definitions have not been updated yet...
for me...I think it would be the next best option to isolate ur important files with the system...ie...backup ur files regularly if U only have 1 system...at least U can recover part of ur uncorrupted data should anything happen...
And y r ppl mentioning Microsux and Linux and not include Apple in it?

Anyway...my point on this is that as long as there is real time scanning involved...no matter anitvirus/spyware/whatever...there is always the risk of program conflicts...
In a nutshell...just use the program that suits U most...dun really have to bother what other people is using... -

Bopian.....the next best antivirus in my opinion would be AVG. Last mth Vpost got discount on PC Cillin, almost 50% off Free upgrade to 2006 version some more -
You, are your own BEST firewall and antivirus for your PC/laptop.
If you can't get by without using any of those music file sharing programs, you can use Commercial Standard hardware firewalls and you'd still corrupt your system.
By Home User standards, Norton Internet Security 2005 (Spyware Edition) will suffice.
Adware Removers and whatever that is FREE downloads from the internet, are all spyware and adware also. REMEMBER: nothing good is FREE, while the good stuff are NOT free.
Then again, if continue to download and share MP3 files, don't waste money buy NIS2005. You'd still get infected. -

Who is using ORIGINAL Commerical(Symantec,Mcafee,Micro Trend,etc) Antivirus software?Not those cracked or from pirate shops... -

I've tried using 2 anti virus at a time and i realised that they always conflict.
