hassle free...can just right click n scan suspicious items (norton need start up whole process), also updates is free...basically is free.

avg...used it for a brief period of time...normal antivirus program lor...nothing much to say about it. -

Trend Micro PC Cillin bao ga liao loh, spyware detector/remover, firewall, antivirus, etc etc. AVG is only antivirus nia. If you want free softwares for everything, try Sygate for the firewall, spyware detector go for Spybot. Right now I'm still using Sygate's free firewall, compared to Trend Micro's firewall it's more user friendly.

xp firewall is just... lousy... inflexible and isn't effective at all. dun trust microsoft security products. go for third party programs

u haf to disable the windows firewall when u install the third party firewall. there will be conflicts if 2 firewalls are running at once. trust me, once u haf a third party firewall, the Windows Firewall will be useless

can install as many antivirus as u want...firewall best install at most 2.

i only installed a firewall and anti-virus on my computer. multi anti-virus and firewalls will get u nowhere, unless u haf one as hardware firewall and another as software. the reason why yr com shut down might be because all yr anti-virus softwares are draining yr RAM

Not system-critical so OK lar...
