Well in some companies there is a difference between systems analyst and a programmer. A programmer or aka software engineer do hands on development work whereas a systems analyst do analysing work on the design stage and the actual coding is passed on to the indian or china programmers to code.
However, in some companies, SA do get involved in coding too. So job titles can be very misleading sometimes. YOu will know as you work longer in IT industry. Dun look down on programmer cuz without them all the grand idea and vision of SA cannot be realized in reality also. It is a hand in hand working collaboration work.
Who should be paid more is subjective too cuz for me I think I am paid quite ok for my programming effort in my opinion [/b]

Feel free to correct me. I am not a computer scientist that dwell on the correct terminology or academic definition. Me just a software enginner that program for a living. I try to present as layman as possible for non technical user. Sometimes having too much details just make it more confusing.

u are right about taking out some books(i.e. triggering software/applications) onto desktop(i.e. RAM)
let's take this cupboard has some extension platform(i.e. allocated paging on harddisk)
u started to make notes from the books onto papers which soon taken up all the spaces on the desktop.
(actually shld be the book making notes, but doesn't make sense....so...
and i'm the stupid windows OS)
U take one more book which u urgently need to reference...so u transfer some of the old paper notes onto the cupboard extension platform to make way for this book. -

So far, they've been more bad reviews than good about this particular software. Perhaps, to many , it will help if it was'nt from Microsoft.

I guess its not that it is Ms that's why ppl hate it... well, not all...
There is a multitude of antispyware programs out there. Most of them do get the job done, not many stand out. MS antispyware doesn't stand out as an industry leader and in a previous post, its effectiveness is compromised by MS own biasness and alliances with companies that advocate adware too.
There are some programs touted to be industry leaders, maybe you can give those a try? Personally I find SpyDoc and adaware to have the best scanning results. Spybot and webroot are great for realtime defence. -
.... spybot, adaware, spy hunter and spy sweeper.. whatever that is downloaded FREE, are by themslves ADWARE or SPYWARE.
The best spyware is yourself, the USER. Read up, and then just use a regular commercially availeble Firewall and Antivirus like Norton Internet Security 2005 will be sufficient.
Ad-Aware ro whatever there may be, just read up on spyware and you'd probably discover them blacklisted in spyware and adware forums.
Don't kid yourselves that these are effective means of security from online threats. Don't be led by your nose..... -

MS AS did managed to find items that were'nt detected by the rest.
Personally, I find Spy Doctor to be slightly better than the rest. Adaware and Spybot are popular but I don't think you can rely solely on them. There are items by which they cannot detect.
Like I've said earlier, I think the best anti spyware is a combination of several. -

If the best spyware is the user, then we've solved all the antispyware problems because if the user insists on spying on him/her self, then there should be no problem.
Firewall is merely a "gate" to control information flow to and from your computer. Anti virus do a great job of protecting you against trojans, virus, worms and the such, but they seldom worry about spyware and adware as many of these malicious programs are not categorised as virus.
Then there is also intrusion detection systems that monitors your computer to see if there are hackers or questionable data flowing in and out of your computer.
The weakest link in computer security is usually the user. How many times have our firewall given us a message that we didn't understand? And we simply allowed it thru? -

Anyway, I noticed that more and more ppl are starting to use programs that were traditionally "off the beaten path". Many users i know now support the open source movement too. For example, ppl are not longer at the mercy of netscape and explorer for their browsing needs but turn to different brands of browsers. Openoffice.org is also becoming very popular.
Maybe Shinta can try out unix or linux to see if these os suit you better than microsoft?
