  to those who are pregnant/the elderly :
  
  if no one gives you a seat, kindly ask for one. say that you are unwell/tired/aching back. unless the person you talked to is a moron/bitch, he/she would give up the seat to you. afterwhich, say "thank you". don't just ignore the good samaritan who offered you his/her seat.
  
  to the adults who wait for students to give up their seat to the pregnant women/the elderly because ur brain tells you that you paid more and you deserve the seat :
  
  please, don't be a parent. we do not need children who think like you.
  
  to the students :
  
  don't be too engrossed with your discussions among your friends. look around, look for ppl who need the seat more than you do. offer them your seat if they're near you. and look out for banglas/adults w/o a heart who would plop themselves at the seat you were abt to offer.
  
  to the rest, some students spend more time in sch than their parents at work. i've done 7.30am - 10pm days in my JC studying/CCA (a sports CCA). some of my classmates even take S papers which classes will end at 7pm or later. well, of course, i used the term "some" students.

  He's right... Why the hell should we give up our sit? Unless those elderly people or pregnant ladies come and ask for a sit, I usually won't 1... heck I don't even sit when there is a sit...

  I gave up seats back when I wasn't driving not for the "Thank yous", but because I genuinely cared, and wanted to. Thanks, doesn't matter to me. What mattered most to me, was that I cared or have helped someone in need.
  
  Next time, for those of you who doesn't give up seats because of no "Thank Yous", don't ever land yourself in a situation where you need other people's help.
