cannot have the slightest desire; like buying new shoes. must use old things/clothes as long as it still can be used.

what i dont get it is why u all pray to buddha and worship him when he is a normal human being ?

need to clarify something.
Buddhism does not talk about strict rules. in fact Buddhism is a life philosophy. it is for the happiness of people. if Buddhsim has become so dogmatic, it is as predicted by shakyamuni, as that in the latter day of the law, which is now, Buddhism will lost its meaning and only the form remains.
true Buddhism do not make u conform to certain ideas. in fact Buddhism is an empowerment of individuals. to enable individuals to realise their potential in their lives. and to use it to also help others attain happiness.
also, Buddhism does not have any gods. we dun worship any higher power. buddhism is about taking responsibility for ones lives. that's y, going to dharma classes helps a lot. people will then understand the meaning of buddhism and how it will applies to our daily lives.

just opposite Punggol Park there
