singers are still earning alot from their album sales...each album cost $20 is abit too steep...mayb can price it at ard $10...if the public buy 1 album is okie but for some fans...they can buy up alot of the same album and they may spend alot in which some of them are only students...
if lower price can bring more sales n generate more revenue, wun it b better than steep pricing which deters ppl frm buying -

Industry surveys show that eight out of ten people are aware that unauthorised file-sharing is illegal.

If Music distributers are gonna introduce spywares and security vulnerabilities to ppl who buy orginal music, won't that be a setback for their war against music piracy?
Guys, lets just be honest. U download a track, u like it, please support the artiste and buy the album. They are trying to make a living too.
Record industries, please, we are not stupid. IT doesn't cost $20 to make a CD. We are aware of ur profit margins if ur cds are a hit. Please lower prices of music too. If we both give way, we will find a way. -

The ones who are not changing are the members of RIAA.And frankly, if total convergence is a reality, the ones facing a shithole and still in their own world will suffer.If you download and you like the song, buy the album.But I'm sure that many people download songs because these are not sold in Singapore. -

the internet started as a military communication tool back in the 1960s. Then slowly it was used forsharing of information inside university campuses before it became a archive access for the public. When it got sidelined to communications like IRC, email in the late 80s , that was then when they figured out that the internet could have commercial and informative uses. It went mainstream. As more sideline uses were found, it attained massive growth in the 90s
The invention of sidelined technologies fueled the body of its growth to what we call as the internet today. -
The invention of such technologies and discovery of uses like pornography, music sharing, social uses spurred science and technology to further find ways to accomodate such content and bring it to the consumers was actually like an entity feeding off its own flesh.
