you need 6m,
estimated calls to get 6m = 600k calls.
why?
cuz 2 lines, $5 and $15 lines. So we assume on average equal no. of calls.
so its, 600k x $10 = $6m needed.
Apparently, slightly (just slightly) more people called the $15 call.
so its $6.88m.
something like 300k x $15 + 195k x $5 = ________ -
for more accurate accounting...you can go renci website, give in previous posts, to see balance sheet for yr 2002 to 2005.

First of all it's a free hospital... ven shi ming yi never keep his salary but returns all of it to the hospital, and he is wholly committed to it that he wld do stunts every year. I think this would be too unfair to the other true blue charity organisations/hospitals. I think what the MC said is true, after all the whole NKF saga, hatred is seeded into the donors but who is the one that suffers in the end? Its the patient that really need help and concern. Every one is entitled to his or her judgement on the Singapore Charity Scene and is free to donate or keep his money.
No need to condemn Mr Dragg.
At the end of the day, those that want to donate just donate.
At least half a million Singaporeans show their willingness to help a fellow Singaporean that does not have a healthy life.
The paitent of Ren Ci hospital will be very grateful for these guardian angels have extended their helping hands from every walk of life.

I went to Ren Ci Hospital with my this friend who likes to do visiting to poor/needy patients. Went there upteen times. The place quite clean and peaceful. But Renci certainly needs and deserves help.
