but then, it's not up to us to pass the judgement.....

why must it be hang being the punishment. Maybe life imprison ??
Death penalty is needed for offences that are very serious. Did he think of his family before committing the crime?? Didn't you c the new poster for the anti-drug campaign??--Who is going to suffer when u take drugs??-->family members . As for this case, who are those who suffer??? HN's family and Ah How's family. Did he think of the punishment he will receive when committing the crime??? He should noe that committing murder in Singapore results in death penalty. If there is no more death penalty, you will c more serious crimes will be committed.
Of coz he cn't escape from punishment but at least away from death penalty..
You will not imagine how the family will be "breakup" when death penalty is imposed. Leaving the wife and son to be alone, and the old parents without a son.
Anyway, i will plead for him. But utimately the penalty sentence will base on judges and govt.. then... -

Compared to Melbourne, our justice system is a joke. I still remember four persons got off lightly for manslaughter two years ago (and two of them had the cheek to appeal against their sentence) while another case involving the same offence this time round ends with a conviction for first-degree murder.

Once the Death Sentence is passed, he's a gonner.
Chances of receiving President's Pardon/Clemency, is like one in a million.
I also don't understand this poor chap; why did he go and KILL such a young little girl??? After killing her, then claim that he heard voices prompting him or whatever, isn't going to be a good execuse.
