and that's without the tools you have here in sg
the main obstacle is the gunpowder for the bullet, and that's much easier to smuggle in

just now at the clinic near the incident. heard one auntie who live just above the victim's apartment. apparently what the gunman did was he waited for the victim's daughter to leave the house for school. den he rushed in and shot the poor fellow 7 times.
and the auntie said she din hear any gun shots.... probably sleeping soundly -

The dumb cock should have used a revolver, as when you fire a revolver, no empty cartridges are left behind.Belief the cops can dust the fingerprints off the ejected cartridges. Besides this, at checkpoints, they may conduct a "gunpowder" test to see who have fired a weapon in say the last 24-48hrs. When you discharge a firearm, residual gunpowder will always get onto your hands, unless with gloves lahz.

I don't think it's an attempted robbery. The penalty for smugging guns into Singapore is extremely high, and want to rob might as well rob in their home country, at least they will only get caught after the robbery rather than at the customs...
Since there are so many shots fired, it is likely to be a semi-automatic pistol. Probably the 9mm beretta. But funny why he never use the silencer. So we can assume it's done by an amatuer, besides, only amatuer needs to shoot so many rounds to get the job done. Or it involved so many rounds because the guy has a vast hatred for the victim and wanted him to die slowly. The motive for the crime could be plentiful, and since it was mentioned that the victim know the guy, it could well be the victim cheated or pissed off that guy for him to have such hatred. The guy did not kill the family probably because he know what the victim did is none of the concern of his family members, so he let them go.
My conclusion = Amatuer -> Not Pro -> Clumsy -> Get Caught -> Genna Hang -

Lots of police special forces (red berets) operations command stationed at harbourfront since yesterday and today....saw them during lunch time....
