That auntie must be deaf.Originally posted by casshern:just now at the clinic near the incident. heard one auntie who live just above the victim's apartment. apparently what the gunman did was he waited for the victim's daughter to leave the house for school. den he rushed in and shot the poor fellow 7 times.
and the auntie said she din hear any gun shots.... probably sleeping soundly
my mistake. but firing pin is metal.Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:The Glock is a striker-fired pistol. It does not have a hammer.
One thing i don't understand.... WHERE are the SOC troopers?Originally posted by cornyfish2000:As of noon today, the gunman is still on the run... Police SOC troopers are continuing their hunt, and the Malaysian police has also been placed on high alert in case he has already fled the country.
Hope we nab him soon.![]()

And the judge who found him guilty of 1st-degree murder ought to be shot along with his family members. His descendants would then rot in the orphanage.Originally posted by lwflee:Don't have so much faith in our immigration controls and our police force. I seem to remember a murder suspect walking through customs into malaysia?
Remember Mona Koh anyone? Whoever shot her has been on the run for 12 years.Originally posted by cornyfish2000:Even with the mandatory death penalty around, we still see cases like that now and again... can't imagine what the situation would be like if we were to sack the hangman.
Anyway, this is most likely a gangland revenge killing... the victim in this case was a KTV lounge owner.

Since there are so many shots fired, it is likely to be a semi-automatic pistol. Probably the 9mm beretta. But funny why he never use the silencer. So we can assume it's done by an amatuer, besides, only amatuer needs to shoot so many rounds to get the job done. Or it involved so many rounds because the guy has a vast hatred for the victim and wanted him to die slowly. The motive for the crime could be plentiful, and since it was mentioned that the victim know the guy, it could well be the victim cheated or pissed off that guy for him to have such hatred. The guy did not kill the family probably because he know what the victim did is none of the concern of his family members, so he let them go.
My conclusion = Amatuer -> Not Pro -> Clumsy -> Get Caught -> Genna Hang

When you have a gun in Singapore, you don't have to have a suppressor. Besides, its not like in HK or US where you wanna kill the gang boss must take him out silently, lest all his henchmen come busting in with automatic weapons. So yeah, family, don't need use suppressor also can.[/b]
You watch too many hk movies.
