Den dats too bad. I believe such cases, if any, are rare. If you fail the interview, you can always approach the director or anybody in a position to help. The best thing is to speak directly to the lecturers or the directors of the respective schools. Funnily, I dont see much students coming for the JAE counselling session. I was a JAE student counsellor for 3 days. -

Space and resources will only be deemed to be wasted, if the student suddenly loses interest and seeks a course transfer or drops out from poly. But if the diploma is completed on a standard basis, then no wastage occurs. -

I just followed the same principles for coming up with that definition. There must be some tangible actions that has to happen before wastage can occur
But if I could be more specific, I would say, the moment a student feels that he is totally disinterested and disengaged from his course, wastage would have occured. But this is an intangible action and would differ for each individual. -
the problem is that these teens don't know what they want, where their interests lie, and are taught not to take risk. don't know what you want to do? nvm just take any course in poly, as long as got diploma can liao. worry later!

precisely, it's not only 'the' teen's problem.
Adult are also facing their own set of problems, disinterest in their job scope but no choice cos breadwinner of family etc.
Are they a waste of resources???
