I agree girls should serve a period in NS but may not be the full 2.5 years.
Currently I am in Israel. First hand experiance where I see women holding rife on the street in army uniform. For my point of view, there is no problems for women to serve NS at all. As long as proper training, educations & facilities are provided. In terms of country's at risk, it's every person's effort to fight be it man or women. No one are willing to be step by another country man.
Here in Israel, women goes to army training at age of 18. They have a 6 months training. Then the rest of NS serving period is half day basis. Meaning half day in the army, the other half to school or work. They carry their rife back to home on their back.
Here women also face bombing risk along with man. There is no different to suicide bomber or missile. So why should only man fight? Current war field is not limited to the field. Wars or terror can occur any where.
One attactive reason for women to do NS is they will gain good figure. I have meet quite a number of over weight women sucessfully gain attractive body. Another reason, women can be drivers. They can earn a free Diver's licene from the army. Furthermore, character building. They are much better in the mind after NS. -

Although i hope that goverment impose a rule for females to serve national service but i doubt that will ever happen.

Well in prison it is usually single gender ppl in there rite? So if there are women in there, so won't there be a queue of men taking turns to impregnate the women to satisfy their inner needs? That is why the women can get pregnant mah I think so -

Girls can do NS as ER nurses. We are short of such personnel in the health services.
Just enlist them into a tailor-made course in ER medicine at SMM and when they pass out, they can be used to cover the nursing shortage. -
