i meen ok lar, If they wan to implement girls in NS its ok...
But there are many factors we have to consider first...
If girls are in NS, we have to change the system, things are very hard to handle, imagine all the catering and services we need, Army uniform for girls...weapons suitable for them...training etc etc.
Moreover, IS singapore lacking manpower? Nah i dun think so... but i agree that having females in NS maybe would boost the men's morale?!?!

In my opinion..gals should serve NS to thoughen themselves up...i feel that most local gals r too frail n thin..
They dont have to do those too physical demanding work..Positions like medic, nurses, admin work can be issued to them...

if girls have to serve a mandatory NS stint...will that mean a sharp rise in teenage pregnancies, so as to attain the "coveted" 8-5 status? Not bad what, serving the nation and answering the government's call for more children!

i say no to female conscripts. cookhouse already very crowded during lunch time, even more crowded if got ICT.

but even if girls r enlisted... it could b staggered so that there will still b sufficient pple 2 contribute 2 nation's economy... like can oso regulate e number of pple in e army... so regulars might not go outta job...

with addition manpower, of course no need so many regulars right? somemore pay them so much money, NSFs are cheaper.
furthermore NSF 3SG/2SG and regular 3SG/2SG are also the same anyway. -
Yah, just conscript all and send them to become nurse lor, if hospital enough people, there are always old folks home, orphanage, disabled homes. Reduce the medical fees.
