We're plotted in this world (Singapore) which is shaped by them... Every change they make you'll just have to play along with them... Big fishes, small fishes... Just like in an aquarium... While they use our resources to shield their own @sses COMFORTABLY.... All they need to do is for us to CONTINUE to BUY their stories so that everything would carry on as they would it out to be....
Imagine yourself in a world where you work like hell... Without even any form of incentive, won't that be just like staying in a prison or working just like a slave or a machine without any much to look forward to in life...? The reason why people are already feeling that 'suffocation' is because they're realising that they're trapped through their own 'instinct'... Though for some it might really take some time for them to figure out and to even do lots of 'plannings & plannings' before anything could be done... But just that I'm afraid would be too late by then...
And is this all not a STUPID TRAP by itself...? The ones being manipulated as much as the ones manipulating others... The ones who worries for themselves so as to play a part for this plot.... How 'stable' is the economy of SIngapore and for investors if Singaporeans' hearts are swaying...? To replace them with foreign talents...? And repeat the same tricks and expect not to sway...? In our Education system we left out important important subjects like History, the Arts and so on.. that's also leaving out learning real social matters like our cultural roots..I guess when so unimportant subjects are not taught in our schools..

okay when i say ministers salaries should be adjusted all hoorays......but will it solve the problems (or so-called problems) psychologically u guys having? so what if they really freeze it if a lot of oppo wins...will the oppos stay in parliament and do full time....the rich gets richer while the poor stays...ministries should run a balance between every aspects and it is sad to see and hear no oppo or rulin pary sayin it and broadcasting it out loud over TV. with globalization, there comes an income gap..as long as it do not go to the extend of compromising the basic needs e.g meals and daily neccesities, education etc that every sgrean deserves. there are ppl who can still hang on and balance tthey monthly accounts with minor surpluses...these ppl should be contented and work harder to make more wealth for themselves (dun complain),there are those very rich, borned rich etc and richer than the ministers themselves....these we have to tax them and they better stop complaining (i am with Robin on this). our main concern are those lower income group and their offsprings..and how we can bring them up thru encouragements but not sending the signs of a welfare society here in Sg.
