well.. it isn't a case of me giving a flying f*ck or not; as this language plague haven't been eradicated yet, and in fact is a growing concern. The English Elite has been ruined by such people. MOE has plans to implement structural changes to the education system, and i'm glad it has.
We need to delve deep into the root of the problems, and i guess the ah lians would be under such classification. how pathetic.
I would make a stand that segregation indeed exist; too bad. But the word discrimination would teeter along that thin line. So, would S'poreans ever be proud of the ah bengs/ah lians, their behaviour (be it online of offline), their articulation, their petty crimes and moronic childish fights with classmates spurred by utter boredom, parents' upbringing, influences, etc? -

i agree with you, like how when foreigners who visit the country interact with the locals who speak singlish, they won't be able to understand what we are trying to say.
