  singapore is so small, sending ur fren all the way to their home is nothing.
  
  the only opportunity costs are probably extra transport fees and one to two less hours of sleep, which can be quite worth it in most circumstances.

  Okie lah... When me was courting my wife, she was staying in Sembawang and me in Queenstown, train trip takes about an hour... But don't feel wasted cos in my heart there's always her accompanying me whenever me is...

  from cck to tampines is like 2 hours? +- wait bus etc.
  from woodlands to harbourfront also 2hours +- bus time.
  boon lay to pasir ris straight ride leh. complain what sia. haha. sure got place to sit and slp de lor.
  
  best case scenario is 2 hours to and 2 hours back. a total of 4 hours.
  8+4= 12. i am left with 12 hours in a day.
  
  +- travel to school + meals = 2 hours
  
  10 hours left
  
  go school most of time 4-8 hours.
  
  best is left 6 hours worse is left 2 hours.

  i used to work in loyang(east) and my then BF stayed in Jurong W. almost everyday we have to travel the distance....
  Then after dat i had another BF, he stayed in Northeast and i stayed in the central ... everyday he took cab(he dont take public transport)
  Then after dat i had another BF, we stay in the same district. its simply so convenient when the both of u r so near to each other ...
  i would say dat if you've had r/s whereby ur partner and you live in the same area, you will find travelling a hassle

  not street smart enough. u shld have calculated all last bus and train timings, wat time u'll roughly arrive (for mrt, accuracy is to the minute so no horse run)... then plan ur journey and timings.. and prepare how long to wait, check weather, traffic from hp etc... memorise the bus arrival timings for last few buses tat usually will take longer if u missed it... and keep any contigency plans in mind and how to execute shld that fail... know all the ins and outs of how to dart home after tat... hehe..
