My favourite Chinese drama serials were all sword-fighting epics - best was Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre starring Adam Cheng.

the tubes would burn out and you had to replace them. you would remove them and take them to the drug store (most drug stores had tube testers) and test them, and replace the bad ones.

I remember my primary school doesn't sell soft drinks. The only way to get soft drinks during recess is to go over to the secondary school beside my primary school to get it - secretly.

StreetFighter 2 (esp. Champion edition) used to be the rage!... I told my friend that he can go out with just 50 cents cos he is so good at the game that he can just sit in front of the machine and people will challenge him the whole day. He like to use DelSim (Forget how to spell) and execute the famous 'wu ying shuai' or invisible slam....Some of my friends are real xiao about the game that they bring the game manual to school and talk about different fighting skills everyday. Too bad last time don't have forums like this.. where got internet?? hehe

I remember Bionix six, it is good that people remember this Cartoons, the way they hit their waist to transform themselves.
I remember those days as carefree and everything was damn cheap compare to now. Used to go into those canals to catch rainbow guppy and small crabs. Those canal dun have louhan fish then.
The old markets kill the chicken and remove their feathers using a big machine. Very smelly and done in the wee hours of early morning.
Always go to parkway parade to play in the arcade then,got a small place to play those colourful balls which you can immerse yrself in and vanish from view. (now i saw it only at Ikea Alexandar)
Those were the days. See all the posts let me remember the good old days of the eighties up to mid nineties. -
