Super stressed poly life

overall i enjoy my days in poly. i'm aren't good in my studies but nevertheless i still manages to graduate without repeating.
depending on your course lah, my 1st year was quite alright, all the things they taught u are straight forward. if u pay attention in class and understand what is taught, exams shouldn't be a problem.
my 2nd year was beginning to get tougher. but still mangaes to move on.
my 3rd year was really fun. i really enjoyed the period of time spent with my buddy doing the final year project. it was fun and i really loved it. hard work did paid off and we get a good grade for it.

cannot find partners? 
my poly FYP normally 3 persons in a group. but i cannot find a group so ended up partner with a old year 2 classmate as a 2 man team. we worked out very well.

in a sense kana con in doing fyp too...cos i either had a choice to do attachment OR fyp...i choose the former at first...but got convince to do the latter...
the rest like they say...is a piece of living hell... -

I will definitely miss them.. feel bad that I will graduate soon, and left the 3 of them to do the projects. -

Once I had to stay up 72hrs to finish a poly project because my group mates were not contributing and I have spoken to them without much result......got sick of them after they kept doing it to me for 2 years so I ditched them .
When i went to university, those poly group projects will become the individual group projects ...so it was all good in the end because I learnt to plan ahead to do my work rather than waiting for others.
Teamwork at work no problem - I make sure that my expectations are known and I also am able fill other people's expectation. You just need to tolerate all personalities . However if they are lazy and refuse to do work , then you put your foot down and say work or get lost. -
poly life wasn't as stressed as sec sch la.. last time o level studied like siao.. everyday to A and E maths -_-"
poly life really very fun.. 1st year was busy doing projects that dun stop coming.. their deadlines also damn close together.. could hardly breathe.
2nd year even worst. cannot breathe, haha.. then i joined a cca also.. gotta rehearse for concert and gotta do all the projects and bla bla bla..
3rd year is the best.. FYP~ but before fyp was attachment.. kns lor.. fyp is much better.. ur groups only got 3 ppl? my group got 7 ppl wor~ i think it's bcoz we're in multimedia~
so, overall, i love my poly life~

To me school life is never stress. You say JC stress? All my JC friends enjoy their 2 years in JC. I even see my friends go out and play sometimes. They don't really keep on study and study. Seriously.. It depends how you plan your time. Poly can be stress if you really wanna chiong to the top. Imagine Doing 10++ project for 7 module within 4 months. But i still enjoy those good old days. If you cannot even handle stress in JC or Poly. What happen when you go NS? I think you will commit suicide straight away. So just try your best.

u go outside work then u know what stress is. got to handle customers' demands, boss's demands and office politics.

Yeah the outside world is more cruel than sch life. Mistakes are not really tolerated in the outside world. Many projects will have to be completed by the stated deadlines or else face lots of liquidity damages from clients. Just like what happen to IBM

anyway to share my experience, year 1 starting i do my TT and my LT, after that i stopped going to LT as i never paid attention anyways, except for macroecons which i liked a lot. Then i started to do last minute TT. as for projects, my groupmates went mia in the middle of the night and i had to finish the report+presentation with my friend(thank goodness he was awake).
year which is now, my results are better and i know my tutorials. i stopped going to all Lectures already -

poly stress lol. ai ya in sg, everything is stress. When work, alamak, even more stress, working in sg is f**k up. The f**king boss in govt sector is shit, always bullying the so called newbies of older staff. If yu have the money, hurry leave sg and work somewhere, i rather be working in other country than in f**k up singapore.

In poly u really had to depend on ur own cause they treat u as adults. u meet all sort of people and u have to due with them whether u like it anot.... As for the grade, it is up to the teacher.... u cannot blame them... cause they also wanted to grt good grade..... Do ur best in the module...
try to know them... u find that they are actually nice people with messy life and dun know how to cope with the problems they have.... -

I have never been so stressed in my life before. There so many projects to do but at the same time I must also do tutorials and study for common test. I just canÂ’t seem to handle them all. I just donÂ’t know what to do now, Sometimes I donÂ’t go to school because I already cannot finish my old work and am not ready to take on new ones. I feel like quitting poly and going to JC or something. At least there ur academic performers doesnÂ’t depend on 3 or 4 other ppl. I donÂ’t even have time to sit and watch TV anymore. What should I do? How can I handle all this? Need answers from ppl who have successfully gone through all this?
