Why should someone who diligently practise his faith be overly concerned about image and misconceptions?
Worse, he is concerned with some people going to other faiths and spreading misconceptions. I think, this potray all the negative behaviours of humans - anxiety, spite, uncertainty, concerned with petty things such as other people's judgement on you..
None of these will help one in his faith..
I tot you already dont want to talk to me?Originally posted by Cenarious:can u plz stop tweeking a few words here and subtly change what i was talking about?
do u agree that many ppl r misled into thinking wrong of what buddhism really is becos of noobs that claim to be buddhist but all they do is burn paper?
becos if one were to need a religion he would be turned off by the seemingly meaningless activities done by chinese ancestor worshippers who claim to be buddhist and thinking that it wont lead to anywhere other than letting the dead have a car to drive and a house to live in. Then they would be denied the chance to practise buddhism in this life which is very wastefulOriginally posted by laurence82:As far as I can see, this is an image issue, not a doctrinal one or anything.
