Last nite I was invited by some friends to a pub near textile center. All gro are from china. Managed to speak to some of them. And to my surprise, 80% of them are holding student pass ( meaning they attending private sch in the daytime ). Best part is that they never attend a single lesson at all. So now I know that the passes they holding are fake. Just to con the garment onli.
1 year stay in sg and they moonlight at nite working as gro, standing along street of geylang and niteclub. At least one of them even say 'standing along the streets of geylang can 'earn' a better salary Best word to describe them: WH*RE. -

I was trying to print some notes at my Uni's photocopying shop and these bunch of students (obvious from which country) were photocopying too. I stood there for about 15 min and they still haven't finish. I had to copy only abt 20 copies so I smiled and asked them how long more they are gonna take and this gal (there were abt 4 of them there @ one machine :/) replied to me saying about 10 more min!!! Then I requested if I can photocopy first as I will be done in about 30 seconds. She said "Er, we finishing soon.." And continued to photocopy totally ignoring me!!
Wa lau.. I was pissed man.. What the hell! -

I would agree with "some" of those foreigners. Of course not all are dumb but many are like "Frog in a well". Having no idea about how life is outside in this world actually. Almost all have never seen proverty..
I have come across people who have no idea what a "Concorde" was.
I have come across people who do not know "Gautama Buddha", founder of Buddhism, is from India.

The 2 years one is to sponsor the PRC to study a post grad here and work here in some senior post at the same time. Within the first year, they and their family will get PR status.
On top of that, they get the privileges that we Singaporeans dun have. Like cheap recreation club providing free entry to local attractions, cheap chalets and highly subsidised holidays. You can go check out www.irc.org.sg. This club, though has a lot of activities for the FTs (who are mostly PRCs), tries to keep very low profile cuz they are serving the FTs. -

For Singaporeans the fee is 200 a month. 500 for foreigners. Yet, those Singaporeans who got into the school are all good enough to get the scholarship from MOE. Thus every month they only pay $35. Foreigners is just a straight $500. -
