i believe smoking is a personal choice though the smokers know they are systematically rendering their lungs blacker and blacker each day and on the road to lung cancer and various other disease which they will regret one day.
the one that is not good is the inconsiderate smokers, not realising their secondary smoke is actually more harmful to the bystanders than themselves.
i used to be a smoker, took me a few years to get my lungs clear.
if you have family consider cutting down or stopping, its rather silly way to kill yourself , jumping in front of a mrt is more beneficial.(more money)
if not and you are single, smoke away. but in the privacy of your own room, away from other ppl especially kids -
I suggest you go watch the movie"thank you for smoking". There is a very good argument for smoking. Btw, the no.1 killer is cholestrol, not cigarettes so can we ban ppl eating fastfood.

hey smokers...y cant we interfere? we have rights to ok..you pollute the air, you not only harm ur own health but others as well...y cant we interfere? we are affected by ur freaking smoke right..? please la..if you wanna smoke..please smoke in a place where there are no ppl lehz..be considerate la...i know some smokers are smoking away frm the crowds..and thats considerate..we can understand that smoking is not a habit that you can kick easily..but at least be considerate and smoke somewhere where there are no ppl can?
and even if you smoke at home in ur room or whatsoever..please oso think about ur family la e.g. ur parents,siblings...you want to die doesn't mean they shld die with you..dun be selfish..spare a thought for them la... -
sometimes, it the ppl who purposely walk near the smokers, they can always talk a detour in order to avoid the smoke. Then, some ppl really irritate us smokers. When they breath in a little smoke, they give us the look that say" I going to get lung cancer, going to die liao". Really piss us off.

I suppose you are an NUS student right? then you shld know that 2nd hand smoke is more hazardous that the puff smokers smoke...I am not saying its easy to die or not..but its just a normal reaction...for example example nia har...someone kay kay wanna push you into the MRT track..what's ur reaction? you will be shocked and for that moment thought you will be falling down right? what if you really fall? you will try your best to come up and beat the hell out of that person who pushed you right?
