Anyway the tuition fees in NUS, NTU and SMU are increasing so much and making the students more desperate... Maybe someone should tell the uni about this prostitution issue, and discourage the uni to raise tuition fees again...
By the way in other countries, not only uni gals sell themselves... Uni guys also sell themselves!!! They become "male escorts", "pet lovers" for wealthy women or gay men, male prostitutes (known as "ducks" in China), porn actors, models for gay magazine, etc. Many of these guys are actually not gay. They are straight, but they just want some quick cash by selling their body... (Who says only gals are desperate?) But I dunno the situation in Singapore though. The issue of homosexuality seems to be taboo here. If your female classmate is a prostitute you may probably feel shocked. But if your male classmate is a prostitute, you may feel more shocked and disgusted! (unless you're gay lah... ) -
