Dunno why the BC nowadays are so fussy...... Why not just concentrate on driving and let the conductors do the spot-checking? Is closing one eye so difficult? Why can't they have any sympathy and tolerance?
Nowadays there are more and more cases where BCs kena scolded, threatened, or beaten up by passengers... I'm wondering whether this is because the BCs are too fussy and inflexible... -

You should have quietly taken down the bus no plate and noted the time and date of the incident and write to either TransitLink or SMRT (which ever is the company which runs the that bus route). Someone there will do the screwing for you. Dun argue with him since everyone is damn hot under the collar.
My experience once was this bus uncle KNN purposely slow down the bus and stop at every bus stop, even when there was no passenger dropping or flagging for the bus to stop. And it was on a Sunday morning at 7:30 am. AS a result, I was late for work.
I then wrote in via their internet website and the uncle kenna terok from their mgt. Their mgt wrote back...

a better incident was my fren wait at the bus stop, eating maggi mee. den the bus come, 3 of us board it first den my fren said to the uncle: eh wait for me i go throw my maggi mee. den the uncle smile and knod. den later he walk to the rubbish bin the uncle just close door and drive off. Dont succumb to those bullies and get adult fare!! I was in the same situation not long ago, and i argued with the bus conductor till he was speechles. In the end he bo pian he let me board the bus. And its not my fault for looking mature, its the bus conductor eyes paste stamp!
