I have met my fair share of professional slaesmen and not so honest ones in Sim Lim, so you cannot really stereotype them just because of one exprience. IMHO,good customer service takes two hands to clap, you cannot expect good customer service from the salesman if you go in with guns blazing and adopt a confrontational attitude.Originally posted by digicharat:do you work at simlim?

Such an old trick. Proper shops don't sell their items separately, as in items in the same box separately. i dont think is stupid ethnics .. because the orginal price of this product is realy very cheap like ipod nano ... if i m not wrong it is only 150SGD or lesser for the orgnial price ... so it is up to the salesman to sell if he sells more he gets commission more ....
i think they are not wrong to say that if you go to salesman A price A salesman B price B.
The bag itself is only $10 or less in China ... juz how much he wants to earn thats all ...
they also hope that you buy from them and not to compare too much ... 15 and 45 is too much i guess.
but if there is a control in pricing i think will be ok ...
