all my frnds go jc/poly liao
im all alone
for 1whole year
muz bury deep deep into my books..
want to talk also nobody can talk..
then tuition only few hours out of the whole day only..
frnds will be all busy with their stuffs or problly made into new grp of frns in their poly/jcs and forget about me
when feel lonely only can take a slow stroollll down orchard road while watching couples kissing/hugging,while my frns are gone..

but i'd suggest not to be too involved, its a stepping stone after all, and shld remain as such. -

After ROD, you enrol into a local poly and they PAY you to study. prob is i retaking as private os no nid to go sch kind(cannot go back anyway,i juz scolded my pricipal this afternoon) waa will have alot free time and no company hor?? then cannot do anything but wear a thick thick spec and study study study to repent from my mistake.. but its 1year..how wuld life be like if i spend 1year studying @ home with no friends no company..make new friends .. make new frens.. how close would we get?? the hi and bye type?? not the type that will hang out with you over-day and nights..Originally posted by Ito_^:welcome to my life, back den.

friends more impt or ur studies?
whichever the case, u wun be able to stay together with them even if u enter poly now. they may join different courses, schools, and also will find new friends regardless of where u go.
this is the time when u have to consider ur future, and separation between many friends.
if u retake den next year u gonna join poly and make new frens anyways, and dat doesn't mean ur old buddies will abandon u. the good ones will remain.
bottomline is, don't make decisions juz to be with ur frens. choose the most efficient and practical way to get what you want. -

1. ITE -> Poly
2. Private "O" Levels School -> Poly/JC
3. Army -> Poly (i think someone mentioned it?)
4. Private Diploma/Private O Levels -> Poly
5. Private Diploma -> Advanced Diploma -> Bachelor Degree
6. Private Diploma - Work (Not Recommended, Private Diplomas are just nice looking toilet paper.)
7. Retain in School/O Levels -> Poly/JC
8. JI -> A Levels -> University
9. Choose a lousy course in Poly. (Not recommended.)
most people would choose ITE or retain in school or choose a lousy course.
personally, i'd recommend u go to ITE. u'll find company u yearn for, and if u score good enough, u can still enrol into poly.
