My 12 choices are:
1. Biomedical Science/SP
2. Biomedical Science/NP
3. Moleculare Biotechnology/NP
4. Biotechnology/SP
5. Biomedical Science/TP
6. Biotechnology/TP
7. Pharmacy Science/NP
8. Molecular Biotechnology/NYP
9. Health Science(Nursing)/NP
10. Nursing/NYP

It all depends on you. But for me i will go for computer engineering. Any poly providing this course will be fine for me(i will not choose RP though). The reason being engineering can get you far and prospect better. And somemore it will also deal wif computer and IT stuffs for this course. Even banking jobs also prefer engineering qualifications nowadays.. wif engineering cert, can practically go anywhere, IT, engineering firms, CPDs areas, etc etc. IT is forever changing and things u learn may be diff, but engineering does not. Think of ur rice bowl more then interest in the future..

Personally i feel i won't go for any of the course u applying.... Y? cos got no prospect at all!!! I'm a graduate from Biomedical informatics and engineering from TP. but in the end, most of my peers either end up studying or working other fields lik business or sales then to stick wif current field. I personally jumped to aviation line and will take up aviation related degree in the future... Unless u intend to study till at least a master's or phd(either NUS, NTU or good foriegn U), u won't go far at all.... you be either be lab technician or lab assistant or your life....(a degree in life science won't take u very far either)... SP is the nation's best Poly, and also has better overseas Uni accreditation as compared to the other poly. Its also one of the poly that does not offer supplementary papers to students.

you mentioned you like IT and stuffs related to computer. do you mean you like doing programming on the computer?

LoL...if going to PHD, then of cos the prospect is there and the path of light is opened..... But other then tat, i can only say u're stuck..... hi got anyone cop pts 26 but still get enlisted in a course that has cop of 16 but is eligible for?

My secondary school friend got around 23+ and appealed for a design course in TP. She was required to hand up a portfolio and she got in in the end. Yes I'm very looking forward to programming, however I'm also interested in IT security.
Been looking at Inforcomm Security Management for a long time, Computer Engineering was previous backup choice if I failed to enter Inforcom Security Management since you know its COP is 14 which is kinda hard to enter.
However, recently I found out ngee ann release a new course which is Network System and Security. This is where I'm stuck, I'm thinking should I replace computer security with Networking System and Security?
And since I get a L1R4 of 14, I will definitely try getting into informcomm security management even though I stand a very very small chance of getting in. Most likely I won't get in this is why second choice is important. -
I think its no point thinking of your rice bowl when you haven't even try stepping and feel whats the society like out there.
Plus, you won't even get a chip of your soon-to-have rice bowl if you can't get through your 'far and prospect better' course which you are uninterested in. -

but different polys specialize in diff area.
SP - Engineering
NP - Business n Accounting
NYP - F&B, multimedia
TP - Design, IT -
What's supplementary paper?
Anyway I have a question on behalf for my friend. His L1R4 is 16 and L1R5 is 21 with 1 CCA bonus point (not included). He always wanted to go JC and his exam result are always kinda good, however O level result is kinda unexpected.
Now he is kinda lost. He have no interest in any courses in poly except 1 or 2 courses.
So now he's planning to put his choices like this.
1) Yishun JC - Arts (Try to see if can go in)
2) Millenia Insituite (a.k.a MI)
3) New Media (RP)
4) Food Science (NYP)
However, recently he found a course which he have a bit interest in it which is from RP - Diploma in Communication and Information Design but the minimum requirement for English is C5 and my friend got C6.
Diploma in Communication and Information Design is a new course starting this year.
Anyway I thought of using DAE, can he do DAE and JAE at the same time? Or can he try getting into the course using JAE despite not meet the minimum requirement which is his english of C6?
Can he try some other JC with COP of 19 or 20? Is it easy to get into MI? I'm afraid if he put MI at the very back of his choices will stand him no chance in getting in.
How's MI like? Seriously I heard no news of MI. -

Well, SP is more established in overseas Uni accreditation. Im not saying the other polys are bad, just that, they are not as good as SP. Thats a fact. SP have much more strategic links with other Unis than the other polys. Always apply through JAE if you are able to do
DAE is the last to be processed and if there is no more spots in the course,your application will be just chucked away
Dont think of DAE as an appeal avenue -
