Personally i feel i won't go for any of the course u applying.... Y? cos got no prospect at all!!! I'm a graduate from Biomedical informatics and engineering from TP. but in the end, most of my peers either end up studying or working other fields lik business or sales then to stick wif current field. I personally jumped to aviation line and will take up aviation related degree in the future... Unless u intend to study till at least a master's or phd(either NUS, NTU or good foriegn U), u won't go far at all.... you be either be lab technician or lab assistant or your life....(a degree in life science won't take u very far either)... Me and most of my peers really regretted going for this course... The best is still engineering( though my dip is under sch of engineering)...Originally posted by Darkness_hacker99:My 12 choices are:

Well , BS ...most if not all poly diplomas are linked up with good universities overseas.Originally posted by shade343:SP is the nation's best Poly, and also has better overseas Uni accreditation as compared to the other poly. Its also one of the poly that does not offer supplementary papers to students.

My secondary school friend got around 23+ and appealed for a design course in TP. She was required to hand up a portfolio and she got in in the end. I dont know, I think its either depend on portfolio or someone screwed up in the JAE/DAE system.Originally posted by xalkyrie:hi got anyone cop pts 26 but still get enlisted in a course that has cop of 16 but is eligible for?
but then again guys will be disadvantage in business course cos the majority are gals. if those guys are very normal looking, they will feel left out.Originally posted by ne0matrix:Engineering not fun. Business fun because . . .

Nursing now alot of ppl want to go leh....Originally posted by Agenda:There is a good chance they will just throw you into Nursing
Well, SP is more established in overseas Uni accreditation. Im not saying the other polys are bad, just that, they are not as good as SP. Thats a fact. SP have much more strategic links with other Unis than the other polys. Thats the way SP has been marketing itself for the past years.Originally posted by fymk:Well , BS ...most if not all poly diplomas are linked up with good universities overseas.
Once you have a degree - where u chose to go and do your postgrad is another matter.
Yeah, engineering is the best at SP. The COP reflects it also. The EEE course dropped from 26 to 18 in 3 years.Originally posted by 798:no doubt about it.
but different polys specialize in diff area.
SP - Engineering
NP - Business n Accounting
NYP - F&B, multimedia
TP - Design, IT
