I have friends who are PRCs (nice people with good social skills to boot), and I have met PRCs who are not easy to get along with, not only that, they have hygiene issues as well. I'm quite sure you don't belong to the first group.

It seems that curio t is learning nothing from the lessons of the history of China. Ethnocentrism got China into trouble and made it weak, and right now he's showing the very same mentality that turned China from one of the most advanced civillizations in the world to one of the most backwards in the early twentieth century.
I am happy to be Chinese but I am certainly not proud of mr. curio's curious mentality... if anything it's something all Chinese should be ashamed of. A person with blind fanatism to the superiority of his nation and race will only bring shame and disaster to it.
Do Singaporean Chinese own the PRC Chinese anything? I think not. We share a common culture and that's it. Hence COOPERATION should be the order of the day, not who's who's bitch. Sure if you are bigger you can muscle in, but does it mean you are any of a better person yourself? I beg to differ. -

During the Vietnam War, a politician visiting Vietnam sees a bunch of drunk American soldiers on the street.

We all know how that story turned out.
A drunk is a drunk.
You can only exhibit the pride of your people and nation IF you have actually read enough of your history and culture to understand WHAT there is to be proud of.
Your ethnicity alone doesn't entitle you to look down on everyone else.
