Don't you think that is it too simplistic, naive to live life with such clear distinctions? If you say you love animals, then don't eat meat at all! Life is not clear cut like that. You can eat and still love animals. You can kill ants and still love animals...

hehehe my "garden" has all kinds of weird animals... lizards... caterpillars... snails (weird shaped garden snails)... fishes... ants... weird looking insects... birds that come and visit... hahaha I love to see them all thriving...
I let the caterpillars destroy the leaves and flowers... but once in a while I dig up worms for the fish... I don't know about you but I love it when I see things thriving and living... I feel sad if nothing is growing and no living things come to visit me. -
Its a life cycle.. this animal gets eaten by the other.. its survival.. no one would blame you for that..

Even if the dog looks like a monster, people generally do not purposely hit it if it is on the road, do they? This is called compassion... hahaha I have compassion for insects, like if I see an insect struggling in a pool of water, I will definitely try to save it if I can with a twig or something.
but if I do not I will not feel guilty... you do it not because you have to but because you want to.

to the TS, animal lover is strictly 100%, with no allowance for any sign of 'dislike' towards any animal..but for the others, the definition aint so strict..

But i am 100% positive that the ugly dog wont recieve as much attention compared to the cute dog.

Go read up more before you make inferential statements. Go through numerous animal rescue websites, you will find all kinds of animals rescued. Lets talk about dogs here. Real deformed, crippled, 'unattractive' dogs are rescued, medicated and rehomed. Same goes for cute healthy dogs.
