Currently, people from china and india makes better scientists than westerners. There are far more publications, thesis and inventions coming out from these people now. Are they mostly christians? nope
Due to the nature of christianity where you need to talk/pray a lot, i find that christains are able to convey themselves better. So christians makes better lawyers and artists while people who dont bother themselves with religious stuff but pursue a field of their dreams make better scientists as they are more focused in their mind.
Of course, you can also say christianity calm your mind down and make you focused on your work too. But buddhism calm down you too in a more subtle way.
P/S: i find most churches very loud and bright. Everytime i went in to a church, i will have a big headache when i come out lol. I cant be in a crowded place. I need to meditate alone. -
Actually the world's smartest ppl are the Jews. See the no. of great scientists that are jewish.
