when i was in sec1, there was a rule that if you wanted to bring hp to school you had to purchase a hp pass that enabled you to use the phone after curriculum time ONLY.
recent one was when in the class, the teacher scolded someone for drinking water. so we asked her 'Drink water must ask permission one ah?

actually in my current sec sch got de, but now change name to Drama Club
i think is because of the previous teacher in-charge, the very good english literature teacher who left the sch last yr
dumbest sch rules heard:
1. no toking in languages/dialects other than english (not even singlish) except during respective mother tongue lessons
2. must sit up straight all the time
3. cannot say out the letter "F", if any higher authority hear, the student kena demerit -
-no striking colour sports bra. Otherwise confiscated.

03 ) must always be in proper attire (uni for watever and pe attire for PE, else kenna booked)

05 ) no loitering around shopping areas

07 ) stand up or sit down during assembly must scream "PEIRCE!!!!", else the monkey... i meant, discipline master will scream his lungs out and make everyone redo
08 ) when he is pissed and ask ppl to do push up, must scream "PEIRCE!!!!" when changing from standing stance to pushup and when recovering. and dun forget to ask for permission to start/recover else give him another 20.
09 ) if booked by prefect, must do CWO. Corrective Work Order. LOL... wtf. basically, the offenders of big and small "crimes" will clean the f-ing sch.
10 ) joining this CCA called "JCRC" almost always grants the students the status of "prefect", after which the prefect can anyhow book people and get them to clean the sch up... unless they joined the "IT/Media Club" too. then, they'll just have to s*ck thumb. the adult office politics is so thick its bordering on behaving unprofessionally.[/b]

No food and drinks outside canteen. Otherwise will be confiscated. Not even bottled drinks.
No outside food allowed in canteen. Otherwise will be confiscated.
No BGR in school. You can only go for the same sex.
If you don't have any exam on that day, but other people have, you need to come school and do self study regardless you have completed you last paper.
After your paper, you must wait for others to complete their paper before you can leave school.
You can only wear your PE attire during PE lesson or CCA. Not even after/before school.
You cannot leave your book in school.
You must wear a nametag at all time. If you don't have one, you need to used a tape and paste on your shirt with your name written.
But still, i break all these rules stated here liao... Who cares man? Just a bunch of stupid rules... I don't even think such rules are real rules...

when you are late, you have to serve 2 hours detention... regardless of how many minute you are late... one minute late also 2 hours detention...
But, i can late for like 4 hours then only serve 2 hours lol haha.. -
