for a quicker method, try fridrich CFOP system. basically, its cross (same as beginner method), then corner-edge pairing x4 (fridrich f2l), then OLL, then PLL. 57 OLLs and 21 PLLs for you to learn, nothing to understand really.. just need to memorize them. for F2L i suggest you going to youtube and searching 'fridrich f2l tutorial'

i think those 3x3 ones are 9.90 only..got sold in any toy r' us..i bought one from vivo...i try awhile then fed up liao...now its missing..

im addicted to it now, can solve 1st 2 layers, the 9 o clock part then the fish part i can solve, after that need formula hehe!
best timing 10 min++
this is my 2nd day doing only so... ill try improve the timing. -

Its possible to do so actually.
He is the world champion btw.
His average timing was somewhere around 12seconds during finals.
And current world record is 9seconds.
I believe with luck in f2l and last layer algorithms its totally possible.
Using Fridrich method.
If you are lucky you can do cross in 5moves. Which can be like 1second if you are fast.
As for f2l, on average you complete it in 28moves. If you are lucky, you can do so in 20. So 3seconds for that.
And if you are really good in your OLL and PLL. You can complete it in 3seconds.
But at the same time, in order to do that, you must make full use of inspection time and at least be good enough to look foward until you solve your f2l.
Then OLL and PLL is all about memorising and looking fast enough.
But at the same time, its probably got to try 30times in order for that to happen.
1+3+3 = 7seconds.
I wont be surprised if in year 2010 people start solving the cube in 8~9 seconds as average. -

For the cfop method.
There are 57oll and 23pll. But that only applies to the last layer.
The cross and the first two layers is actually the more crucial part on solving the cube.
And You must do it through logic and pure instinct.
So it aint that easy. One must practice alot in order to solve it in sub20. -

The fastest person does it in seconds blindfolded.I open my eyes big big also take 3 weeks.
