as students we should give due respect to our teachers. giving them bad attitude is bad enough. scolding them with vulgar words is worse. a teacher is there to give us knowledge, not for us to scold them.
i was a bad student last time, no matter how bad i am, i always refrain from scolding them with vulgar words.

i've seen alot of fine examples of teens. i was at queensway, heading to the shopping centre, i was very occupied and was actually in my own world la, then suddenly i saw these 2 youths, they were discussing something, i couldn't here. and they were looking into the distance, and i didn't think much about it, then i saw them promptly walk up to the middle of the street, between the road divider, and each of them supported an old granny (i just noticed) on each of her arm, and slowly escorted her to the other side of the road.
i was so proud of them yet filled with shame, cuz i didn't notice the granny.

but i also got apologize and get punished for wad i did.

it isn't just a harmless prank he pulled to get some laughs out of his classmates.
and i don't believe it was just the word "fuck" or "chee bye" so simple. for that, he might be punished, maybe send to principal office etc, but definitely not so serious until the teacher would bother with so much effort to regain back her dignity.
for all you know, she might have been tolerating this abuses for some time before she decided enough is enough.
the attack must have been vicious, totally degrading and insulting to her or her family members. i've taken care of kids and youths too, they too sprout vulgarities now and then out of frustration. i've been there, i know. but if the vulgarities are not intended at anyone, and there are no younger kids around to pick up this nasty habit, i usually just ignore them.
i'll only reprimand them when they actually intended the words to hurt others.
i can very well assume that this kid probably cockily jeering at the teacher, intending to cause hurt to her dignity just to get laughs out of his class. and not because he was frustrated because his girlfriend broke up with him or something.

put yourselves in the teacher's shoes. you think being a teacher is easy? having to prepare lesson plans, and have to dream up of creative ways to help them learn, and making sure you're keeping to the schedules so that they complete their objectives before exams. and you're not just teaching 1 class, you can be juggling up to 4 to 5 classes, and of different subjects.
you've got tons of homework to mark, 1 class average about 20 to 30 students, and you're handling 5 classes, that would make it 150 homework to mark daily! and you may not be marking a subject which is static like math, right means right, wrong means wrong, you might be taking a language subject, marking composition, have to show them ways to improve their writing skills and vocab and content.
the teacher has to mark until past midnight sometimes, and whenever the teacher is going home etc, she will have to take the opportunity to mark them too, and on top of that, she has to worry about the class not passing the tests and exams, if she's kind enough, she will even kill her weekends to hold remedial lessons for the weaker students.
she has to take courses to update herself, she has to organize school outings, and head a CCA on saturday.
you think being a teacher so easy ah? she may also have relationship problems, her parents might give her problems too etc on top of her stress in school.
and as if its not enough, she has to deal with errant students and play councilor for kids having problems, always availing herself as a listening ear and emotional support.
then come along a stupid idiot like yourself, thinking the whole world owes you something, degrading the lecturer with insults just because you think your problems are bigger than everyone else's problems. what kind of excuse is that?
go reflect on your student life la, you little prick. Have a sense of right and wrong indeed.
