That is the responsibility of the Singapore's organizer, not Cambodia's festival organizers.. The team carried life jackets for the event. They wore the life jackets when they were training in the same river but decided against wearing them in the event because it would hamper performance. Probably the life jackets are not the suitable type.Originally posted by snobbish:[quote]Originally posted by googoomuck:

There are suitable life vests for such events, like the flat, inflatable life vests stowed under the aircraftÂ’s seats.

wats make u think a place like cambodia would carry such vests?
or u think the rowers should bring them there![]()

well, for me, since i don't even know them, how can i feel sad?
if i'm their friend or related to them, yes, i will feel sad....but in my case??!!
if some random guy got killed in car accident on the road, will u all feel sad like now? most people don't even care.
however, though, i do feel sorry for the little boy who ask "how come kor-kor never come back?"
now, that's really sad.
next time ask the dragon-boaters don't be so kei-kiang!
dragon boat finish already so tired must wait for ship to fetch them back, not to ROW BACK THEMSELVES! i feel angry for their families.
also, how come nobody is taking the blame for suggesting the rowers row back? is it the captain suggest one???!!!
yea..i think nikar should just go on to do his/her usual things like kill the neighbour's dog or steal a poor beggar's money...Originally posted by dumbdumb!:i really don't see the point of nikar's words la.
maybe im reading it too seriously... but then.. it is really sad...
