We are a small little red dot but because of our competence & good governance, we are well known for being 1st (if not 2nd) in many things - best airport, best sea port, best interracial & religious harmony, no corruption, no labour strife & industrial turmoil etc, etc. You compare with some of the am countries & you can form your own conclusion.

Point 1: You are bragging over small things. It is good to be multi lingual but alot of people out there in the world other than Singapore are also multi lingual. Some countries like Finland , they have to learn to speak and write swedish , finnish and English . I know a few ang mohs who can read and write french , English , german fluently. A guy I am seeing- he speaks and writes 6 languages fluently (Hebrew, English , German , French , Russian and Spanish) - he is jewish so I am not sure if jews count as ang moh.
I disagree with point 2. The little red dot is known for conformity but Japan is a better conformist. And really the Japanese may be xenophobic but they are at least very very polite. Best air port? Not really ... Changi drop in rating. Hongkong international airport is now no. 1 and Changi shares the same spot as Incheon International Airport in Seoul.
Singapore doesn't have the best sea port - it has the busiest sea port. There is a big difference between best and busiest.
Singapore also churns out the newest money earning hubs like a rabbit in heat and then quits when the hype is over. The only worthwhile hubs are the sea ports and tourism hub - the rest are not exactly a success.
Singapore is just a country which has her pros and cons, like any other country. -

I shall infer from your post that you would define that false notion as 'white people are better than Singaporeans'. Now I'll address your points:
2. Many white people can speak and write in both English and French/Dutch/German/Italian/Spanish/Portuguese/Swedish/Finnish/Norwegian/Danish/
Polish/Hungarian/Czech/Estonian/Latvian/Lithuanian/Russian/Welsh/Greek/etc, and some can communicate in Mandarin.
3. Sure, we can be proud of some of the things we have achieved, but we aren't among the top in lots of other things also. Other countries have things to offer too us too (space, proximity to nature and outdoor activities, an environment conducive to creativity, etc), which migrants might value more than what you've mentioned, in the same way that some white visitors adore life here.
4. Many of the white people who come here are friendly, well-travelled and open-minded. I rarely have problems striking up conversations with them. Pt 2. What is the reason behind the so called conformity as stated by u? I think the main reason the conformity is that everything is going & working well for sg & many r satisfied with the status quo otherwise why should the people keep on voting in the present govt term after term?.
Regarding the airport & seaport standings I said that "for being 1st (if not 2nd)" & not saying that sg is always 1st in the world. You said sg is not the best seaport but the busiest sea port - dont u think busiest is something as good as the best?.
