Ok, how to survive 5 bucks a day? I'm sure poly food not that ex right? In town food can find 3 bucks, so i'm sure poly can find 3 bucks or less. don't buy drinks, bring your own water bottle , trust me it's a good investment and plain water is better than coke, 7 up.
next, have one meal in school... forgrt about snacks and all, they're pretty ex and they don't fill you up.
eat breakfast at home, eat lunch in school, and maybe stay till near dinner time in school, but still go back home to eat dinner. that way your 5 bucks will suffice.
Food + drink = $5 already.. min.
And in poly, the hours are quite long leh.. -

During my entire 3 years in poly, I had never eaten in the once in school (don't even know what the poly canteen look like). Only had my meal when I reach home.
Other than transport cost, school fee and other misc fee, have never spent on anything else. I didn't have any allowance in poly, managed all the expenses from money earned during vacation job.
So why TS still consider $5 per day too little? -

Try working if you can. There's a lot you can learn with a job, no matter if it's just tuition or serving coffee at your neighbourhood Starbucks.

used to study in sp....lived east side....
can wake up...go prata shop...get prata for breakfast...left 3.80..
go skool eat the lunch i make or if i never...eat chicken rice or economy rice....still got money to spare...
eat at macs also not like their food impressive...so y waste....go poly to study..not to eat at macs...
