How can I convince my parents for more pocket money?

$5 is enough if you eat lunch at canteen.
you are in poly...old enough to work. find some job during the holidays to supplement your pocket money if you still feel not enough. i work during the holidays to pay for my transport and pocket money...on top of these i still have to pay for my notes and sometimes reference books. my mum only gave me a little money here and there. -
think outside the box......
you will find that you could save alot if you ta pau.......
ride a bike to the mrt if you live a few hundred metres away instead of taking the bus.....
for me if i do that i could save half of my transportation fees....that is if i do cycle to the mrt station.....
about food you can always ta pau wat......for me as a big eater i always get tempted wan....but sometimes they say when you share/give something with someone....someone will also share/give to you.....thats why
i know some of you may say aiyah lazy lah this lah that lah but sometimes you need to change things -

Tell your parents because the gahmen called PAP in Singapore have two fat increment/salary adjustment less than a year, because of this we are all working hard to feed them. To let themselves have super high pay they have raised the costs of living so much and as such prices of food and many other daily essentials have gone up. so now we need more money, tell your parents that. It is all because of PAP.

must get at least $25 for meals and ciggy each day. wkend $100 a day if no driving licence. if have driving licence then give yr kid the car and $70 a day.

i spend $0 to $2 per day in school (poly)
breakfast usually dont eat
lunch i buy 2 packets of noodle/kuay tiao (1 packet 1 dollar)
some days i end early then i go back eat instead of eating at school -

Hmmm.... definitely not enough, need at least 10 bucks...
Tell them that the food in school expensive lor... and sometimes also need to photocopy or buy stationery... no money then how?
Say that you owe your friend a huge sum of money cos always borrow money from them to eat...
If all things fail, work part time and fail some unimportant test and let them see it "unintentionally"... they would then raise your pocket money and ask you not to work... -
