I worked on some other third party payment modules on zen-cart before ... things i'm not going to put up on their download page ....
I got to warn you though, because of the way the database and orders processing is set up in the system, I'd have to mess around and set up more tables in the database etc, which would make upgrading to future versions a bit more painful ...

yeah, for sure ....
i already have some existing solutions ready to plug and play and in use with clients .... just tell me what you have in mind, and i'll see what can be done ... coding up a payment module on zen cart is not a trival matter depending on the complexity of the payment methods ... but it doesn't have to be .... it should be a below 1k sort of thing, just pure coding ....
