it certainly does wif all that matrix dives, crawling and rolling. well at least it snags on mine.
girls with guns! cool where u play?
I ran at this other girl 2 sundays ago, she fired an auto Glock into my face which i just managed to avoid by sliding down on both knees matrix style and getting her with my knife. Certainly didn't snag on anything while I was doing that.
I play in and around London and occasionally in Sheffield.

Where are you at? If you're in Singapore theres little to no chances of you getting to do that I think.
No worries, I am old enough to travel.
am planning on touring Cambodia, China & at least Europe. If there may be interesting courses on interesting shooting, I dont mine dropping by a few weeks to learn the stuffs.

Hmm although the people who run the site I go to do run CQB training, most skirmish days, you turn up and you perform to the best of your abilities. It's practice, but not coached training.
I may not have the strength & agility to run thru skirmishes, and with a right wrist broken and the left knee ligament snipped....I am kinda easy game for you folks.
Heh heh heh....I am feeling old.

Ow.
Hey no lol. Get yourself a nice perch and snipe. Sniping in CQB is scarily effective, esp when you make use of the light contrast between light and dark places to set yourself up. Last wed,I did just that and took out an entire enemy team of 5 on full auto in 3 seconds. lol
Wah.....thats really lots of fun!
4justice wat do you think of the STAR L96?
STAR? STAR guns are nice and detailed, but a bit on the fragile side. I don't have any experience with their L96, but from what I know of their other guns, It should once again, have all the fine details, however I'm not so sure I want to bring any STARSoft products into a skirmish with me.
Can't say I like STAR magazines also. TM and CA designs are much better and feel more solid.
newcomer dont try to psycho ppl.
Tanaka AICS still the best!
My fucking M16 and/or SAR21 pawns all your plastic shit.
lol. your M-16 jams and your SAR21 is shit. ![]()
Tanaka is nice.. I'm eyeing one of their revolvers, STAR, heh STAR recently been getting a lot of bad rep. Seems they're shit, falling to bits on their own and unskirmishable, as I've previously mentioned. Their aftersales support is also crap.
Meanwhile I've got my eye on a Real Sword Type 56, for my Viet Cong loadout.
Airsoft in singapore is what this thread is abt
My fucking M16 and/or SAR21 pawns all your plastic shit.
Tanaka AICS is almost all metal except the outer body and other odds and ends. Weighs 5kg close to the real steel if i not wrong

My USP .45 has a metal top slide and ABS lower frame, just like the real steel. =)

You mean the live weapons, airsoft or replica?

They are NOT sold in Singapore.
(for simplicity's sake i'll assume he's talking about ALL RIFs)
Btw VK74, airsofts ARE replicas. so are blank firers, dummy weps and deactivated weps.

Errr.......they are sold, not that we are suppose to know.
yep, airsoft is replicas, though they have a slightly different idea about them along with replicas that have not mechanisim in them to shoot anything, even air.
If our boy wants to go around with something sling on his shoulder for cosplay, he can get those moulded replicas with red tip rubbers at the Army Market. They are fairly life like and is often used as wall pieces at folks home.
For airsoft or even live weapon, it can be purchased but the weapons and its bullet need to be stored with the club at all times.
That's as good as not being able to buy one really. And I doubt that the airsoft weapons in Singapore were bought thru a Sg retailer dealing directly with the manufacturers. More likely bought from a HK retailer at club levels, and then sold onto the members, which I don't really consider true retail.
But anyways, a replica is anything that looks like the real steel, regardless of internal construction.
Ultimately anyone who owns one in Singapore and stores it at home, is taking a big risk. There's so much red tape to owning them that it's as good as illegal.
errrmm.....the airsoft retailers in sg does not necessary buy from hongkong clubs as you mentioned.

So... there are shops in singapore that primarily retail airsoft guns? I'd be interested to know the name of a business that is able to stay open selling something that there isn't demand for. I don't think I said they buy from HK clubs too. I said they buy from HK retailers and then resell it. Not exactly a retailer, even if they do buy direct from manufacturers, since their primary product is highly unlikely to be airsoft alone.
