Getting out of NCC!

Education is an all round process. Academics is just a portion of it. Btw I believe you will know more friends through CCA though I must agree that you should choose one which you have interest in.
Joining NCC for the sake of preparing oneself for NS simply isnt a sufficient reason. Quit it and join one that you truly like.

sure can one. I think it's NCC that lacks ppl that's why they give you the excuse.
because you are a student, they can press this onto you.
What's the harm of letting 1 person jump from NCC to another CCA. 1 more slot only.
The only reason is the other way round, NCC got no people, they have to put people inside, not that other CCA are full. I don't think CCA can actually be full. Try something like a CHESS CLUB, confirm got space.
If not, write to MP, then STOMP it.
TYPICAL SINGAPOREAN WAY.
The only way NCC can move towards more 'NS training-like' is to give the students extra guard duty. -

Fk you. I asked to go ncc and got an extra p, npcc.I even went to beg the teacher to let me join ncc. I still stick to npcc for 4 miserable years even though it sucks balls. Be thankful and STFU.

dude, NPCC or NCC or BB or Scouts tougher depends on school. some sch their NPCC get gold while NCC dont get, that kinda NPCC harder.

i was from scouts, but back then i feel like shit, dunno how to do push ups, atitude to the snrs and 'cher, hack care about others, some more i am the youngest in my family.
looking, back i would like to go back to help them, it has thought me to be punctual, to be disciplined. take care of younger fellas, hence like i got a/2nd little brudder
the last part about taking care of younger ones, are if you are in scouts, cuz it goes by patrol, so you have s4, s3, s2, s1 in your patrol, unlike others where you go by platoon.

i quitted NCC only after a year in it.
by, just not going at all, no matter what they do to me, I DON WANT GO! -
stick to UG OR Performing Arts. you are at a advantage to get A1 OR A2 for cca grade. it will minus your marks. from what you get in your 'O'S

For live firing... you won't get to fire more then 60 rounds in your school cadet life.
What is good is that NCC gives loads of CCA points, especially if you make ot through the competitions, I skip loads of NCC training and stuff but i still get b3, 1 point more to A2.
NCC provides alot of courses that is really really fun, treat NCC like a proxy to those fun course loh.
As for physical fitness, it's not as scary as you think, if you compare to your school's competitve sports and they're fighting for national level, it's like lower then them.
