H1N1 is brought to SG by all the ppl who went overseas despite knowing the country has a high rate of infection. Wanna blame also blame them for bringing in the virus.

Some school adopt e-learning so student can still learn and submit online assignments. Just a handful though....

outdated lah, nowadays teacher get some students in the class(usually the class monitor) to set up a relay system, where the class is spiltted into groups,
then teacher==> only need to inform the class monitor,==>then the class monitor only need to contact the leader of each group,==>then the group leader is reponsible for informing the rest of the group.
This is messaging spreading system teachers have developed in school now.
honestly to me, the decision they made not to ban sch for at least one wk is a bad one.
this is just my opinion and im just here to rant
cos the number of cases in sg has been building up really quickly. just today (or was it ytd?), out of the 17 new cases, 6 were from sg. plus the reason why they cancelled so many performances/crowd-drawing events was to stop ppl from congregating to minimise the chances of spreading. i'm assuming the youth day performance is cancelled too.
so they send almost every student back to sch, squeeze all of them within a compound, with assembly, recess, cca's...great. furthermore, if im not mistaken, most JCs have their mid-yrs during the first wk of term 3. so hundreds of students have no choice but to be compacted in a hall, with the fear that they may catch the flu, as they work on scripts.
quoting the CNA site, the annoucement earlier said 'life must continue as normally as possible', which is pretty damn strange when things are in fact, not normal.
i also heard from some teachers that the a main reason why they decided on this was cos they wanted AYG to proceed as planned. as some schs are supposed to participate (in the opening ceremony - students running ard with the torch or some kinda lively activity - i've no idea), they cant afford to extend the hols. uh..huh. plus, some AYG participants have alr caught the flu. why so hard-up on proceeding as planned? when an unexpected shock hits us, not everyth can go as planned.
