how to convince my parents to let me pierce my ear???

  here's the low-down if you want to...

  it takes about 2 months to 1 year for the whole thing to heal.. and that's if it heals properly..

  that's if you dab the thing with antiseptic and keep it clean at least twice a week.. and if you do sports, you will have to keep dabbing it with antiseptic because of your pesperation..

  if you do stuff like football, there's also soil-borne bacteria so you will have to remove everything, clean everything with antiseptic AND disinfectant.. and then put everything back again..

  your choice

  i bet TS is thinking "there's so much to do"

  if TS still wants to pierce after reading this , i guess TS will be too lazy to disinfect , clean etc after a period of time ..

  oh yeah.. they won't use one of those "gun" things.. the speed (which makes them almost painless) of the needle will fracture and may shatter the cartilage..

  this means they'll probably use a needle..usually a higher gauge one like maybe a 16G so that they can pull the jewellery through.. and you see that huge bar? it won't be that immediately.. you'll have to probably slowly stretch the piercing.... however, if you want it that size immediately, be prepared for lots of pain and looking after the piercing for a longer time than aforementioned..

  go for genital organ piercing better

  clit piercing for girls

  ball piercing for guys
