Pangolins are tough survivors but there must be only a few left around in the bukit timah forest reserve area.When you visited that temple did you not noticed a tunnel entrance at the back? In fact there are a few such entrances all around Mt Faber and surrounding area down to Depot Rd/Alexandra Rd which is now sealed.These tunnels go deep down and is part of a labyrinh of undergound tunnels that is link to the ones in Sentosa.

There are lots of tunnels and underground bunkers around that area all the way to Gillman and Kent Ridge. The tunnel under the Keppel Harbour was supposedly destroyed by the British before handing over to the Japs in WWII.

By the way Mr Chew have you ever caught fresh water catfishes in the forest reserve area.These are dark greenish creatures that could be caught with bare hands.I know alot of people who doesnt fancy eating them but catfish are one of my favorites.

My kids used to go and catch some nice fish for the aquarium including the baby catfish but soon they realised the catfish startted to eat the other fishes, so they get rid of the catfish.
Don't eat catfish much in Singapore but often as pecel lele when in Indonesia.

No need to remind me how the word is being spelt again but the picture sure make me want to catch catfish for dinner>LOL.By the way I am heading for Cirebon in January. -

They just add a ladle or two of MSG into the hot oil before starting. That's Indon warung secret recipe.

By right anything more than a teaspoon of salt daily is not good.But I think how people survive depends on the amount of water they drink to neuralize it.So by left you could be a walking talking salt depository but only up till maybe the age of 28 at the most>LOL -
