remebers kallang which was very spacious in those days and that they had built kfc and A& W side by side near national stadium.remebers eatimng all the hamburgers at a& W and runnin next door to kfc to eat more food!!!!!yes......me isa big eater.....i eat like $100 worth of food ina day!!!

remebers everytjing was in japanese in those day.....they had akina nakamori pop idol,Natto seaweed sushi,deepo fried tempura ,general yamashita and lky.
remebers........the best mutton soup was at beach road which owners closed down n retired for good.they had all parts of the lambs n my favouraite was the lamb brains soup which was enormous.

Still there but the sea is now East Coast Parkway. It's beside Fort Road.

Near liang court, there was this indoor boat ride in a dark river, where fake crocodiles popped out from the water, and different exhibits showing on your left and right. I don't remember much, but I know it is located near the pubs.
remembers the food stalls in the golden shoe area which was CONSTRUCTED ABOVE THE granite rocks with the sea water spl;ashing it n wiv sea creatures scurrying everywhere on the granite rocks.during lunch time all the offivce werkers in golden shoe area from banks wearing neckties , suits would go eat there.....me fav was the beef noodle soup with viscera in it.n i love the smel;l of salty air wiv crabs n strange creatures running all over the granite rocksat low tide as i enjoy my bowl of beef noodles.

cant seem to think of nnything else in golden shoe except beef noodles and crabs on rocks fighting .
me led a boring life.....dunno much bout golden shoe.me remeber at marine parade metro every xmas gots lucky dip where they wrap toys up and ask people to select those toys.it was nice packaging,remeber i went there n buy skeletor,masters of the universe...so gross come to think of it.but it was state of the art....such nice plastic..good manufacturing werkmanship!
me also remember going to bras barsah at bain street to buy magic tricks and smoke bombs.spent hours looking for the keys to the star destroyer kind of mission.
remebers army camps in spore at that time and small little red pellets they used for trainings.....remebers the cpl there yelling at people for dropping red pellets on ground
remebers schools with big fields and how much indian teacher used to scare litle kids using his black magic.he once caught 2 boys torturing a bird and then he stopped them and then pretended to catch the 2 boys souls and throw it into the air in the middle of big field.suddenly so many dragonflies flew in......how dragonflies appear suddenly is beyond my understanding.what a strannnge school.
then thwere was kite flying at east coast beach...everyone flew fighting kites and alll those dangerous strings with crushed glass so they can cut enemy kite string n be victorious...what a damn strange game they had in those days.i was contented with just flying a simple kite until it vanished into the sky....but when it reached a certain height the kites seem to have more strength than it used to during low attitudes.
