Indonesia will not apologise to Singapore for haze: Foreign minister
(THE JAKARTA POST/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - Foreign Affairs Minister Marty Natalegawa has said the Indonesian government will not issue an apology to its Singaporean counterpart for the haze crisis but he insisted that the government would do everything it could to tackle the problem.
“The Singaporean government must be aware that we have done all we can to tackle this haze problem. Indonesia has been dealing with this for years and improvements have been made,” Mr Natalegawa said as quoted by kompass.com on Friday.
He said both governments had worked hand-in-hand to tackle the problem, sharing information regarding the latest situation on the ground.
For example, he said, Singapore’s environment minister had been sent here to discuss the best possible solutions with his Indonesian counterpart.
Currently visibility in the city-state is very limited and air pollution has breached ‘hazardous’ levels. Similar conditions are also being seen in Indonesian cities like Pekanbaru in Riau and Jambi. The haze is coming from fires in many locations in Sumatra and West Kalimantan.

Not some one, lots of one bought the $60 20X mask.
When you need it, 60 dollar per mask you also will pay.
I recommend the cheng hu use the 24 day average PSI as the 3 hour PSI is not accurate and cause unnecessary worry.
Just following the line of thought of white elites.

every miniute change in smoke level counts because those super high tech industries in spore stop production once smoke is too much for their filtration and facility to handle.so once psi reach certain level..no one must enter or leave their positions due to contamination.

Except for a Hen and Fool who lived in the irony tower.
I falled off my chair when I saw this message.
This show how dis-connected and useful they are when face with a cry-sis.
Thanks to the haze as it flushed out the snake hiding in the hole.
Still got one snake missing from the show.

Given the worsening of the haze situation, they should be doing better than to send just the vivian the softee one to meet the official there. They have not done enough to solve the problem.
I cannot remember when they ever help to solve problems face by Singaporeans effectively.

haze has been there since 1997 but nothing was done
